Ann Gottlieb is a renowned fragrance developer with over 50 years of experience in the cosmetic industry. She began her career at Revlon and later joined the Estée Lauder Company, where she worked for six and a half years and learned the art, science, and business of fragrance under the personal tutelage of Estée Lauder. Gottlieb then became the head of product development for Elizabeth Arden and Warner Cosmetics, where she participated in the creation of Gloria Vanderbilt. In 1983, Gottlieb founded her consulting firm, Ann Gottlieb Associates, committed to providing specialized olfactive and product development services in the fragrance industry. She has developed top-selling fragrances in every segment of the fragrance market, including all fifteen Calvin Klein fragrances, Carolina Herrera's Chic and 212, and Liz Claiborne's Signature Brand. Gottlieb has also developed successful fragrances in the mass market, including variants for Unilever's deocologne giants Axe and Impulse, Victoria's Secret, and Bath and Body Works.
